Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the Cligo platform. They govern your access to and use of our services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cligo governing your use of our Customer Relationship Management platform designed for travel agencies. By creating an account or accessing the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cligo in any way — including browsing, registering, or using any feature — you agree to these Terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform and delete your account.

Users under 18 years of age are not permitted to use Cligo. By using the platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

Description of Services

Cligo is a multi-channel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform purpose-built for travel agencies. Our services include:

Contact Management

Store, organize, tag, and manage customer profiles, interaction history, and travel preferences.

Deals & Pipeline

Track sales opportunities through a visual Kanban pipeline from lead to booking.

Messaging Inbox

Unified inbox for WhatsApp Business, SMS, and email conversations with customers.

Campaign Manager

Create and send bulk WhatsApp, SMS, and email marketing campaigns with analytics.

Social Media Management

Connect business accounts, schedule posts, and publish content to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter.

AI Content Generation

Generate, refine, and repurpose social media content using Claude AI.

Analytics Dashboard

Monitor campaign performance, message delivery rates, and social media engagement.

Role-Based Access

Manage team members with granular permissions across SuperAdmin, Admin, Manager, Agent, and Staff roles.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

Account Registration & Security

To access Cligo, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and not share credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not create accounts on behalf of others without their express permission

Accounts are provisioned by a SuperAdmin or Admin within your organization. Each user account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials between multiple individuals is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

JWT access tokens expire after 15 minutes. Refresh tokens expire after 7 days. You will be required to log in again after inactivity exceeding this period for your security.

Acceptable Use Policy

You may use Cligo only for lawful business purposes consistent with these Terms. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to contacts who have not opted in to receive communications
  • Using the platform to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any individual or group
  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or any malicious code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to Cligo
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the platform
  • Using automated scripts or bots to access or interact with the platform without written consent
  • Violating any applicable law, including data protection regulations (GDPR, PDPA, or local equivalents)
  • Publishing content that infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • Using AI content generation for deceptive, misleading, or manipulative content
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercializing access to the platform without authorization

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

Social Media Integrations

Cligo enables you to connect your business social media accounts through official OAuth integrations. By connecting a social account, you agree to:

  • Comply with the terms of service and community guidelines of each connected platform (TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)
  • Ensure you have the legal right and authorization to post content to the connected accounts
  • Not use the platform to post content that violates any platform's policies, including copyright, hate speech, or spam guidelines
  • Take full responsibility for all content published through Cligo to your social media accounts

TikTok Specific Terms

Until your TikTok developer app passes TikTok's audit, content posted via the API is sent to your TikTok inbox as a draft (video.upload scope). You must manually review and publish each draft from within the TikTok app. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish. Cligo is not affiliated with TikTok and cannot guarantee API availability.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

Posting to Facebook requires a Facebook Page (not a personal profile). Posting to Instagram requires a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. You are responsible for ensuring your Meta app permissions are correctly configured in the Meta Developer portal.

X (Twitter) Pricing

X API access is billed on a pay-per-use basis: $0.015 per text post and $0.200 per post containing a URL. These charges are applied by X Corp directly and are separate from any Cligo fees. You are responsible for all API costs incurred through your connected X account.

We reserve the right to disconnect any social account that is found to be in violation of platform policies or these Terms.

Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through Cligo — including customer data, campaign content, media files, and social posts. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Our Platform: The Cligo platform, including its design, code, features, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Cligo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

AI-Generated Content: Content produced using our AI content generation feature (powered by Anthropic Claude) is provided as a suggestion tool. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, original, or free from third-party intellectual property claims.

Do not upload or publish content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. You are solely liable for any claims arising from content you publish through the platform.

Privacy & Data

Your use of Cligo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

  • You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from your customers before importing their data into Cligo
  • You must not import or store sensitive personal data (such as financial information, health data, or government IDs) unless required for a clearly defined business purpose
  • You are the data controller for your customers' information; Cligo acts as a data processor on your behalf
  • You must comply with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction when using Cligo to manage customer data

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Cligo platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice where possible)
  • Emergency security patches or bug fixes
  • Outages from third-party infrastructure providers (MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare, Redis)
  • Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from service downtime, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. We recommend maintaining independent backups of any critical customer data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cligo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of:

  • The total amount you paid to Cligo in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or
  • One hundred US dollars (USD $100) if no payments were made

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cligo and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the platform in violation of these Terms
  • Any content you upload, publish, or transmit through the platform
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Any messaging campaigns you send that violate anti-spam laws or recipient consent requirements
  • Your social media posts or content that violate the policies of connected platforms

Termination

By You: You may stop using Cligo and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, all your data will be purged within 30 days per our data retention policy.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to Cligo at our discretion, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:

  • Violated any provision of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity through the platform
  • Caused harm to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the platform
  • Failed to comply with requests from regulatory or law enforcement authorities

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability limitations, and indemnification) shall remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of the courts in the location where Cligo operates, as appropriate.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time as our platform evolves or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Display a prominent in-app notification informing users of the update
  • Send an email notification to all account administrators for significant changes
  • Provide at least 14 days' notice before major changes take effect

Your continued use of Cligo after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use and request account deletion.
